Rich and nourishing, Conatural’s Organic Avocado oil helps to add strength, shine and condition to hair and skin. It also nourishes the skin and is said to help protect it from ultraviolet rays. This is because the oil contains 20% essential unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins A, B, C and E, proteins, lecithin and potassium. Organic Avocado oil is known to reduce age spots and the appearance of scars because it has a high content of unsaponifiables (sterolins) that soften and moisturize skin's upper layer.
Cold-pressing the flesh of the avocado makes avocado oil. It takes ten fruits to produce one teaspoon of the rich and thick oil, which absorbs easily.
Persea americana
Conatural's Avocado oil is an excellent carrier oil for any of essential oils. It can effectively be used in skin conditioning facial and body massage.
Double Cleansing:
Can also be used for double cleansing along with a cream based cleanser. Just apply a small amount of Organic Avocado Oil in the palm of your hand. Use your fingers to gently massage it into your skin, working in small circles to help remove makeup and dirt. After thoroughly cleansing, rinse off the Organic Avocado Oil with water and a soft washcloth. While your skin is damp, apply your cream-based cleanser (Or the Organic Cleanser & Makeup Remover by Conatural). Pump one small amount to your palm and lather in between your hands, then, begin cleansing your skin. Again, use small circular motions to cleanse. Be mindful of the eye area. Once you’ve finished cleansing your skin, you’ll rinse off with lukewarm water and gently pat your skin dry with a soft face towel.
